Welcome and Worship
Welcome, and thanks for visiting! If you're on a spiritual journey and looking for a place where you fit in, we hope you will consider worshiping with Stephenville First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We welcome everyone who would like to know more about God, those who are seeking to deepen their faith, as well as seasoned Christians searching for a church home. At First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Stephenville we first see ourselves as a part of the whole wide "Christian Church" made up of Christians everywhere -- no matter the denomination or fellowship in which other Christians participate. We strive to be "Disciples of Christ.' Disciples are followers or students of Jesus Christ. We like to emphasize what we have in common with Christians everywhere, rather than how we differ. We're a vibrant and diverse gathering of believers striving to follow Jesus in our individual daily lives, as well as in our life together as church. Jesus makes a difference in our lives. We believe that if each believer or seeker focuses on establishing and deepening a relationship with Jesus Christ, uniquely different people can experience the joy of serving God both individually and together in unity with the group. I invite you to be our guest in one of our two different services of worship or any of our spiritual growth, social or service activities. Come along with us, and seek to be a follower (disciple) of Jesus Christ!
