Meaningful Participation

Active community/national/world service through Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Optimist Club, Erath County Habitat for Humanity, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Erath County Meals on Wheels, CPS Rainbow Room, Operation Christmas Child, HOPE of Erath County, Week of Compassion and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). 

First Christian maintains a small emergency food pantry and cooperating with other county churches and agencies, daily shares financial assistance with individual county residents in need.

The First Christian Church facility is the home of weekly Weight Watchers meetings, monthly Lions Club Board Meetings and as scheduled, CPS Family Group Conferences.  As needed, FCC shares it's building free-of-charge with other non-profit community organizations like the Kiwanis Club, the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Senior Citizens Tax-Aide Volunteers.
